Got my 20 pack awhile ago and picked up four extra games today.  I have a strong feeling I will still see over 30 games this season.

Man is BSG a good show.  Almost made it through the whole series again, only 5 episodes to go.  Once finished, I think I'll take a small break then watch it with commentary.

Yep, this still works

Not really doing anything with the site though

17/05: ....?

While I really wished the Crew would of taken the double header, I really don't see them winning a game of the series.  I have been come cynical which makes me sad.  I think I'll continue my Vodka quest and call the people I miss the most.

19/12: Spam Bots

After yesterdays post I noticed that every entry had 500-1000 comments. This is very odd as no one even views this site. It turns out that spam bots were posting links to porn and spyware sites. I have cleaned out all the comments (20K down to 3 total) and added Captcha to the comments section. Hopefully that will stop the bots.

19/12: New PC

After some nagging IDE issues and overall system slowness, I broke down and got myself another PC. I haven't upgraded since nForce2/AXP 2000+ day so this has been a fun learning experience as well. I went with the following hardware:

Gigabyte GA-P35C-DS3R Motherboard
Intel Q6600 Processor
2GB (2x1GB) PC2-6400Crucial Ballistix RAM
eVGA 8800GT SC 512MB Video Card
Western Digital 750GB SATA Hard Drive
Thermaltake 700w PSU
AverMedia 780m TV Card with QAM

I must say, this system blows away what I was use to. I usually expect 2.5-3 hours per DVD backup, it now takes 15 minutes. I am playing the same games I had before but now with everything maxed out and it doesn't complain at all. Hell, I run Crysis at a decent resolution and high graphics and it doesn't chop much.

I am still thinking of going back to a watercooling solution but am waiting for the added expense. I think I'll try for a 3x120mm core and mount it in the top of my case. It may be a tight fit but possible. I'll be putting a block on my CPU and GPU so overclocking will be a must. I think I'll go to 3.2Ghz (9x400) if I'm able, 3.0Ghz if I can't.
